Project: Stapleton Airport Northfield Ponds

| Challenge: Create a 35 acre aesthetically pleasing, yet functional stormwater management area accomodating 1600 cfs inflowing runoff from 460 acres of surrounding commercially developed land in a highly erosive soil environment comprised of 88-92% sand. |

| Solution: Wetland sod was used strategically in areas identified as highly vulnerable to the erossive nature of stormwater runoff events. |
